Community Neuro Rehab Occupational Therapist- Band 5 Full Time, Temporary
Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is able to offer an exciting opportunity for a temporary contract within CNRT. You will be a member of our interdisciplinary community team. You will be part of a rewarding and developing service, committed to providing evidence based intervention.
CNRT comprises of Early Supported Discharge for Stroke, Community Stroke and Community Neuro Rehab. We offer community based treatments in a variety of settings including the home, group, clinic, or the wider community.
We are looking for an enthusiastic therapist who can assess and treat patients as an autonomous practitioner, whilst working effectively as part of a multi disciplinary team.
You will have good time management skills, a flexible approach to delivering care, the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and experience in the clinical field of adult neurology.

Main duties of the job
Carry out occupational therapy assessments, plan and deliver treatment and offer education and support to patients and their families, in a variety of community settings.
You will be expected to practice autonomously but work as a part of an integrated multidisciplinary team and may be required to delegate work to support staff.
