Community Neurological Rehabilitation Physiotherapist - full time, permanent

This is an exciting opportunity for you to become a member of our interdisciplinary community team. You would be a part of a rewarding and developing service, committed to providing evidence based intervention. We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated Physiotherapist, who can demonstrate skills appropriate to the role, working in neurology.

CNRT offers support, advice and therapy intervention to adults who have a physical and/or cognitive impairment, due to an acquired neurological deficit. We offer community based treatments in a variety of settings including the home, group, clinic, or the wider community.

Utilising your knowledge and skills, you will work closely with the service users, their family, their carers and other professionals from statutory and non statutory agencies, to offer consultation, advice, education and goal focused episodes of therapy. You will be a competent and confident practitioner.

Assist patients, carers, relatives during incidental contact

Communications

Develop working relationships with the immediate team

Communicate with a wide range of people to ensure that treatment planning and intervention is holistic and cohesive

Use a variety of communication methods throughout the working day, eg: email, written records and telephone.

Communicate difficult or sensitive information relating to patient care

Ensure that all locally produced information documents are in the corporate style and that all written information complies with Trust policy

Planning and organizing

Organise and plan their own day to day workload, in order to meet the demands of the service and job role
