We are looking for an enthusiastic therapist who can assess and treat patients as an autonomous practitioner, whilst working effectively and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be able to demonstrate flexibility and an ability to adapt, enabling you to cope with delivering services in acute areas and at times community settings.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to patients in specialist areas on a rotational basis. The areas are MSK Outpatients, Pulmonary/Cardiac Rehabilitation, Respiratory, Surgery/ICU and Stroke.
The areas that the post rotates through includes respiratory (ITU / surgery/ respiratory medicine), Stroke and neuro services, Musculoskeletal outpatients and pulmonary / cardiac rehabilitation.
You will need to be a car driver with a full, clean driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
The post will include commitment to the respiratory on call rota that includes weekend and out of hours working - previous acute respiratory on call work essential.
This post is subject to an enhanced CRB check, successful occupational health assessment and satisfactory references.
