Education Planning Coordinator

Salary: Starting salary at £29,970.00 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Learning Governance Team at the North West Ambulance Service for an Education Planning Coordinator. It is full-time role on a permanent basis (37.5 hours per week) and is based at the Trust Headquarters at Ladybridge Hall, Bolton and a future centralised education team base. The role offers the opportunity for agile working and there will be a requirement to be able to travel across the Trust footprint.

The successful post holder will manage the education and learning teams training plans, including the oversight and allocation of training resources and receiving requests for learning interventions. The role will provide comprehensive project and administrative support to the Workforce Development Department and will also manage elements of projects, assisting with project planning, responding to information requests and other complex tasks.

What will I be doing?

As a valued member of the Learning Governance Team, you will find this to be a busy, varied, and fun role. Outstanding interpersonal skills with a high degree of discretion and sensitivity will be required to interact with a range of people across all functions of the organisation and outside the Trust.

About us

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.

Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.

Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.

We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
