The Role: NHS 111 Health Advisors take a variety of incoming calls from patients, providing them with an appropriate response to their urgent healthcare needs. This could mean booking a GP appointment, advising them to attend an out of hour's service or even dispatching an ambulance! It is a challenging, exciting and extremely rewarding role working based in a call centre with a difference - where no two shifts are the same!

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Good communicators with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Good administration skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
  • Computer literate - including inputting and accessing Windows based packages together with a high standard of keyboard skills.
  • Resilient, highly motivated and passionate about delivering quality patient care.
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent vocational q

About us

More Details: The 111 Call Centre function makes a vital contribution to the provision of first-class patient care, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.You will be responsible for the assessment of symptoms, using a clinical software tool in order to signpost and transfer patients to appropriate providers. Full on the job training will be given and an excellent career structure is available for future career progression.

We are currently recruiting positions for 30 and 37.5 hours working between 0800-0200, Monday-Sunday. Candidates must be fully flexible and be able to work any shifts within these hours

The post holder must be available to work a minimum of 6/8 weekend shifts per month and complete a 6 week Full Time training course starting 27th March 2023.

Interviews will be held on Saturday 4th February 2023 via MS Teams, with successful candidates being invited to an Open Day whilst being on-boarded.
