Job summary

The post offers opportunities for the successful applicant to develop skills in meeting the complex needs of clients.You will join a friendly, well-established, integrated learning disability team with a focus on delivering high quality service for adults with learning disabilities.Bolton's learning disability health service is integrated into the Community Learning Disability Team, combining the learning disability health services with social care. The team is based at Farnworth Town Hall located within the Bolton borough.You will be an enthusiastic occupational therapist, with a passion to help others and to work with adults who have a learning disability and complex physical health needs and/or behaviours.

Main duties of the job

To manage a complex caseload, using evidence based, client centred principles to provide highly specialised assessments, implementation and evaluation of Occupational Therapy intervention. There will be opportunity to bring creative thinking into your work and use skills acquired throughout your previous Occupational Therapy training and experience.The post holder will have access to clinical supervision, peer and managerial support.
