Job summary
Applications are invited for a locum consultant to cover maternity leave at Bolton Hospital NHS Trust. The post attracts generalist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, with an opportunity to develop a variety of special interests.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will participate in the general workload of the department including out-patient clinics and ward duties (obstetrics and gynaecology clinic activity), labour ward cover, maternity theatre and elective gynaecology lists, involvement in departmental risk management and governance.
The on call duties will include working on a 1: 8 resident on-call weekday and 1:18 non-resident weekend rota.
