Job summary
We are at an exciting phase in our digital transformation journey here at the Trust having started to implement an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution in 2018 we continue on our digital journey. Our focus is to provide digital care that is patient focused, clinically led, and this role will play a key part in shaping and driving this ambition, recognising that the optimised use of technology and data is critical to the future of the Trust.
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic digital leader who is passionate about positive change, can build an inspiring vision, and lead the delivery of the digital and data agenda in collaboration with the digital leadership team and the wider Trust to ensure our future hospital digital vision provides a unified, digitally mature infrastructure across our integrated health and care system.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive Digital Transformation Programme to include planning, scheduling, reporting, risk management, benefits realisation, assurance, budget management and quality standards.
Management of the Digital Programme Management Office (PMO) who are tasked to ensure the designed and agreed Programme is delivered on time and to the relevant KPI's.
Management of the Business Analysis function within the PMO that is responsible for maintaining relationships with clinical and non-clinical services across the Trust to understand system requirements and identify opportunities to deliver benefits through investment in Digital Initiatives
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Digital, the role will play a critical part in designing and delivering the Digital Strategy and the Trust Board Objectives by providing advice, support, guidance and escalation on the portfolio of projects within the Digital Transformation Programme.
To provide leadership and strategic planning to ensure effective service delivery by championing new and transformational ways of working.
