Job summary
We are looking for an NHS Deputy Breast Screening Manager to work in our breast screening services at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
The role will include supporting the Breast Screening Office Manager which will include a variation of leadership, management, performance, quality, governance and co-ordination of the screening services.

Main duties of the job
The Deputy Breast Screening Office Manager is responsible for providing high quality administration and clerical support to the Breast Screening Office Manager and deputising in her absence. The Breast screening office provides administrative functions for the Breast Screening Programme. The screening admin team are responsible for overseeing the process of sending invitation letters to women eligible for screening using the National Breast Screening System, based on lists derived from the BS Select system and for making sure all women receive the right result following their screening episode.
You'll build relationships with, and work closely with the Director of Screening ,Screening Office Manager and Programme Manager as well as the clinical and imaging teams.
The role will include aspects of human resource responsibility, ensuring all administrative staff appraisals are completed on time and mandatory training is kept up to date. Keeping health roster up to date approving annual leave and managing sickness.
Provide ongoing training for staff on new guidance and conducting inductions with new starters to the team.
