Main duties of the job

Assist in deploying and optimising clinical systems throughout the organisation.
Ensure our staff and patients benefit from the best digital solutions to enhance care and patient safety.
Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to understand system requirements and implement effective solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical services.
Provide training and support to end-users to maximise the benefits of our clinical systems.

Education

Essential

Educated to degree level, or diploma level, or equivalent experience of working in specialist area.
Knowledge of a range of Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and in particular Excel

Desirable

Evidence of continuing professional development.
Clinical Systems Configuration Training
Advanced knowledge of IT literacy with Microsoft. Qualification in IT Systems or significant practical experience

Experience

Essential

3 years' experience in Digital / Informatics
Experience of Clinical Systems Projects
Experience with user support, recording, receiving, assessing and responding to user queries, providing resolutions to problems and referring for follow-up training as appropriate
Experience assisting in implementing Clinical/EPR systems
Proven track record of working as part of a team

Desirable

Knowledge of NHS informatics and business requirements
Knowledge of existing and emerging technologies applicable to health and clinical practice
