Job summary
We are looking for a resilient, robust, self-motivated support medical secretary to support the work of the Integrated Community Paediatric Service based at Breightmet Health Centre.The successful applicant will provide efficient support secretarial duties. You will need to demonstrate attention to detail, have excellent communication skills, be well organised, flexible and self-directive with a positive 'can do'/problem solving attitude. Excellent word processing and good general office skills are required. Experience of working with confidential and sensitive information within timescales, deadlines and protocols is essential. It is essential that you can work independently but it is also essential that you are able to work as part of wider team in the provision of health services to children and their families.
Main duties of the job
Job Purpose: - The post holder will provide an efficient support secretarial service to the Integrated Community Paediatric Team. The post holder will provide cross cover for fellow secretaries and administrative and clerical team leaders when required.
Core/Key areas will include: - To provide a full medical secretarial and administrative support.General office duties including e-mail and computer systems, word processing. Assist the OBM/DOBM to facilitate the smooth running of the Integrated Community Paediatric Service (ICPS)
