Job summary
Here at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, we are looking to recruit a HR Business Manager. This is a Band 7, full time role.
You will report directly to the Head of HR, and will be part of the wider Workforce and Organisational Development team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone to join our team as a HR Business Manager, which is a role within the Workforce and Organisational Development function of the Trust, responsible for supporting the clinical divisions and directly working alongside our clinical and operational managers to contribute to the delivery of the Trust's objectives and strategy.
Your role will be to provide professional HR guidance and advice in relation to all staff groups in the Trust, including medical staff.
You will be an experienced HR practitioner, CIPD qualified or with equivalent experience, and you will be able to demonstrate a sound track record of advising and working with managers on people management issues.
You will have excellent communication and influencing skills, an analytical mind and the ability to interpret workforce metrics and drive through improvements.
You will be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HR policy, workforce issues, change management and complex casework.
The most important quality we are looking for though is the ability to form effective working relationships at all levels and because of this you will be someone who can quickly build rapport, and also have the ability to cope in a busy NHS operational environment, prioritising competing demands.
About us
The role will initially be aligned with the Integrated Community Services Division who are key partners within the Bolton Integrated Care Partnership working collaboratively with Health and Social Care partners across Bolton.
In addition to the core HR business there will be opportunities to get involved in exciting transformation, service redesign and culture change work to transform the health and social care services for Bolton residents.
