Job summary

We are looking to recruit motivated, dynamic Midwives who have excellent communication skills & clinical knowledge to deliver personalised care to women in our local community settings, improving women centred care and promoting continuity. We expect you to perform with passion and drive providing clinically excellent care, and be supportive to women, their families, and other MDT members.

There are exciting opportunities (Full/Part time with opportunity for flexible working patterns) to join our highly motivated, and dynamic midwifery teams in the community and low risk settings.

Main duties of the job

With births of around 6000 per year, Bolton is the 'Supercentre' for the North West, providing high quality compassionate care to the women of Bolton, Bury, Salford and beyond.

Recent improvements have led to a stronger focus on providing safe and compassionate care and this has increased opportunities to learn, develop and expand your career.

What we are currently doing:

  • Offering 4 choices of birth environment
  • Developing a continuity of carer model
  • Developing a case loading team
  • Providing high quality care to high-risk women
  • Working towards offering a transitional care service
  • Developing our perinatal mental health service to offer a more holistic approach to women with mental health needs.
