Specialist Clinical Pharmacist Band 7
30 hours per week 1 WTE
Fixed term for 12 months

We are looking for a Band 7 Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, or someone who aspires to become a Band 7 specialist pharmacist and is willing to work towards this specialist post.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to manage and support the development of Clinical Pharmacy and Medicines Management initiatives across the Trust. This pharmacist will have a great opportunity to develop their specialist clinical skills within pharmacy and various clinical specialities. There is a strong focus on staff as individuals. Essential
- Registered with the GPhC
- Completion of the first year of a clinical diploma
Desirable
- Evidence of further education/ training in clinical practice
- Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
- Membership of other speciality groups i.e. UKCPA
Experience
Essential
- Hospital Experience and ability to demonstrate medicines management at ward level
- 1-year post registration clinical experience
- Participation in an audit/ research project
- Teaching/training experience
- Evidence of completion of a departmental or trust wide procedural document or guideline
Desirable
- Experience of writing PGDs
- Experience of managerial responsibilities
- Published pharmaceutical content
