A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Radiology department at Royal Bolton Hospital. The department is looking for a forward thinking and enthusiastic Lead Mammographer.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced member of staff to be part of this specialist team, working across Radiology's breast imaging services. The post holder will help support, monitor and deliver performance across both symptomatic and breast screening services.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will be required to work closely with our Breast Screening Programme Manager, Consultant Clinical Lead for Mammography, Office Manager and experienced departmental teams to provide management and leadership of the breast imaging team.
Reporting to the Operational Business Manager in Radiology, you will be an integral member of the management team. You will work alongside clinical and non-clinical colleagues to provide the best possible experience to our patients whilst at the same time meeting performance standards and targets.
Proven ability to engage clinical and non-clinical teams is essential, as is the ability to deliver high performing services within budget, in a cycle of continuous improvement.

We currently looking for a Lead Mammographer to join the Breast Imaging team. The candidate would ideally have some operational and strategic management experience, be a register mammographer and/or advanced practitioner in mammography and be highly motivated and passionate about delivery an imaging service across both screening and symptomatic services.
