Job summary
The Employee Service Centre is based in the Workforce Directorate of the Trust, and is responsible for the recruitment of all new employees, changes to existing employees, staff benefits and child/adult care.
The Trust are looking to appoint 2 assistants to join our well established and highly committed team in the Employee Service Centre and Workforce Deployment Team.
1 x 37.5 hour post supporting General and Medical recruitment
1 x 37.5 hour post supporting temporary staffing recruitment
This is a really exciting opportunity to be part of a customer focused service whose aim is to give the best possible care to patients of the Trust by supporting managers in recruiting the best possible candidates for their vacancies.
The role will be the front facing support to our recruitment activity around, substantive and temporary staffing dealing with the new hire process, using TRAC and other systems to facilitate this.
With two opportunities available, one will support the Trust to develop a rolling bank recruitment schedule to increase our pool of headcounts across staff groups to further reduce the need for agency staff. The other will support General and Medical Trust recruitment.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve communicating with applicants, candidates and recruiting managers; and using the Electronic Staff Record, TRAC recruitment and NHS supported systems to prepare and arrange interviews, and process pre-employment checks for successful candidates. Therefore our ideal candidate will have experience of working with IT, and be comfortable and confident in their ability to communicate with all levels both verbally and in writing. Above all we are looking for someone who demonstrates a real passion for customer service and who is always willing to go the 'extra mile' for our customers.
