Job summary

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is hosting this post on behalf of all system partners on the Greater Manchester (GM) Integrated Care Partnership Board (ICB) and the Provider Federation Board (PFB). The post holder will be required to engage staff across all partner organisations, governors and elected members, participation groups and very senior staff in the newly forming Integrated Care System.

The Programme Director will lead workstreams to ensure the most effective and efficient recovery from the pandemic and to develop and implement broader strategies to improve the health and care of the population.

Main duties of the job

The Provider Federation Board Programme Director will be responsible for the development of Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership Board (ICB) and the Provider Federation Board (PFB). They will be required to take a lead role in the delivery of significant programmes of work focusing on:

  • Urgent and emergency care
  • Elective recovery
  • Cancer
  • Mental Health
  • Clinical support services
  • Vulnerable services

The Programme Director will lead work in one or more of these areas to ensure the most effective and efficient recovery from the pandemic and to develop and implement broader strategies to improve the health and care of the population.

  • Master's Degree with extensive relevant experience working in a similar complex environment.
  • Extensive experience, expertise and understanding of performance and change management, business planning, budget setting and commissioning processes

Desirable

  • Relevant qualification in programme management.

Experience

  • Track record of significant achievement in directing and managing the delivery and improvement of services within an organisation of comparable size, scale and complexity
