Job summary
As part of a busy but friendly team, you would be responsible for making a range of aseptically prepared products using needles and syringes within a clean room environment. Working under supervision you will prepare products for patient administration.
You will rotate through other areas within the service e.g. stores, assembly etc. therefore you need to be methodical, accurate, able to strictly follow procedures and have an eye for detail.
No experience is necessary, as an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services will be provided. This position offers progression from Band 2 to Band 3 after completion of training and qualification.
Candidates with suitable experience may apply for the Band 3 position.
Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday including bank holidays on a rotational basis.

Main duties of the job
To aseptically prepare products for patient administration. You will wear clean room clothing and be trained to work following strict clean room behaviours.
You will assemble trays containing consumables and ingredients for 1st stage checks, therefore must be able to document information clearly and accurately.
You will perform transfer sanitisation using isopropyl alcohol and other disinfectants and be responsible for cleaning equipment and areas or work on a regular basis.
