Main duties of the job
Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented professional looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a skilled Service Manager to join our team in the Borough of Bury, responsible for the day-to-day management of our Wound Care & Lymphoedema Service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritise and Plan: Efficiently manage your workload, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and objectives
Process Development: Create and refine standard processes within the service to ensure consistency and excellence
Staff Support: Ensure staff are aware of and adhere to agreed processes, promoting a culture of best practice
Objectives Alignment: Collaborate with management to set objectives that align with Community Services' corporate goals
Data Management: Accurately input and maintain up-to-date records on the Paris system, ensuring data quality and integrity
Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with external agencies, such as Local Authorities, Home Office, GPs, and CCGs
Confidentiality & Enquiries: Respond to sensitive and confidential enquiries from various organisations and individuals in a professional manner
Meetings & Events: Arrange and coordinate training sessions and other events as required
Specialist Support: Provide expert support for the tissue viability element of the service, utilising your expertise to drive excellence
