Job summary
The Northern Care Alliance is an excellent place to be an analyst. Sitting within the Data and Analytics Department, the Insights team is responsible for adding value to data and providing analysis and insights to the Organisation.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Principal Insights Analyst. You should have experience of manipulating complex databases, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collate, interpret and present information.
You should be experienced in using SQL and MS Excel and possess a good knowledge of NHS data sets.
This role is much more than just numbers and data. It is essential that you're able to capture the hearts and minds of the workforce, whilst at the same time connect, engage and influence multiple stakeholders.

Main duties of the job
Data & Analytics is pivotal to the delivery of high quality efficient healthcare provision. The Insights Team provides analysis and insight to support the NCA in using information to support effective decision making, ensuring that they; make the best use of their resources, understand their performance (quality and efficiency) and providethe information required to enable them to focus on areas of greatest opportunity.
The role will provide expert professional advice in relation to national, local, contractual and regulatory requirements and the translation into operational requirements, demand & capacity planning, performance management, reporting, measurements processesand statistical modelling.
