Main duties of the job

Are you ready to elevate your nursing career and make a profound impact in the lives of women dealing with endometriosis? We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our passionate team!

In this pivotal role, you will take the reins of your own clinics, managing patient care with expertise and compassion. You'll be the driving force behind our multidisciplinary team's discussions, actively contributing to the holistic care of our patients as a vital member of the endometriosis MDT.

  • Post registration training in aspects of gynaecology

Desirable

  • Endometriosis workshop attended or can provide evidence of interest in those areas
  • Sonography qualification
  • Counselling qualification

  • Current NMC Registration

Knowledge, Training and Experience

  • Extensive experience in the speciality
  • High level of awareness and understanding of Gynaecology in particular endometriosis
  • Able to deliver practitioner led care in a clinical setting
  • Ability to communicate at a high level, and deal with distressing and difficult conversations
  • Knowledge of the BSGE & endometriosis centre
  • Willingness to undertake any training necessary for the role

  • Substantial post registration experience in speciality
