Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, experienced Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our regional Hyperacute Stroke Unit B4 at Salford Royal Hospital, delivering care to patients who have experienced a Stroke.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated adult nurse with a passion for delivering high standards of care who has proven, post registration experience. The Unit receives patients from throughout the Greater Manchester region, accepting transfers in and out and therefore excellent communication skills are essential.

Main duties of the job

The team has a multi-disciplinary focus in order to ensure that patients are supported throughout their inpatient stay.

You will be supported on the ward by the wide range of the MDT members and a supportive preceptorship period.
