Job summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Children's Services in the community for a full time, Band 3 Administrator.

Based in Salford Children's Services at St James's House, the role within the Children's Administration Team provides comprehensive support across the Paediatric Nurse Led and Therapy Services in the community.

The ideal candidate will have a high degree of administration experience, excellent communication skills and be proficient with a wide variety of computer packages.

Main duties of the job

Knowledge of Patient Centre, (patient records, clinic management, referrals, appointment booking and waiting lists in line with 18-week RTT principles), would be an advantage as would Medisec and the ability to type and format complex reports accurately and to tight deadlines.

There is a high level of contact with external service users and professionals, therefore good interpersonal skills are a must. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are required as is the ability to flexibly manage and prioritise a full and varied workload.
