Job summary

The Medical Device Service support users of medical equipment across all of our hospital sites within the Northern Care Alliance.

Main duties of this post include retrieval of medical equipment from clinical areas, decontamination of equipment and basic testing of a range ofmedical devices.

**Please note that, for this post, you will be required to have obtained a full UK Driving Licence**

Main duties of the job

You will be required to log and update records on the department's information database. The department operates within a registered ISO9001 quality system so successful candidates will be expected to follow these procedures.

You will possess a National Certificate in Electrical / Electronic or equivalent and have experience in an Electronic maintenance / serviceindustry.

Knowledge of functional testing of electronic equipment with good communication and IT skills will be required.
