The NCA is looking for an End User Compute Manager to oversee our applications packaging, support and life cycling. Ensuring our healthcare professionals have the tools they need to deliver excellent patient care. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for managing and optimising end-user computing environments, from desktops and mobile devices to virtual platforms and critical healthcare applications.
You'll work closely with digital teams, clinicians, and stakeholders to streamline application delivery, improve performance, and ensure a seamless, secure experience for all users. Your role will involve overseeing application deployment, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with NHS standards, all while driving innovation to improve the end-user experience.

Main duties of the job
As Manager, EUC Application in the NCA, you will hold a pivotal role in managing and optimising end-user applications and endpoint cyber security crucial to healthcare delivery. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, operational management, and technical oversight to ensure the reliability, security, and usability of applications used by clinical and administrative staff.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of end-user applications across NCA sites. Working closely with digital teams, application vendors, and stakeholders, you will ensure that applications meet the functional requirements of users while aligning with NHS standards and policies.
In addition to operational management, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives within the application environment. You will identify opportunities to enhance application performance, streamline processes, and optimize user experience through the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices.
As Manager, EUC Application, you will also provide leadership and direction to a team of EUC application support specialists. You will mentor team members, facilitate training programs, and promote a culture of collaboration and innovation to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical support services to NCA staff.
