Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time (23 hours) Ward Clerk to work on the Same Day Emergency Care at Rochdale Infirmary.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload.

Main duties of the job

Your role will involve clerical duties to enable the unit to run smoothly. General duties will include filing, handling medical notes, answering the telephone and greeting patients and relatives and booking patients into online systems such as Symphony.

You will possess a good standard of education and have experience of working within a busy customer focussed environment.
