Main duties of the job

Ready to elevate your nursing career? Join our dynamic team on Ward 12, where we have both full-time and part-time Staff Nurse positions available! With two successful NAAS assessments completed and a third on the way, now is the perfect time to embark on this rewarding journey.

Ward 12 is a fast-paced medical/surgical ENT ward, offering diverse patient cases that will enhance your clinical experience. Whether you're a newly qualified nurse eager to learn or an experienced professional seeking fresh challenges, this role is perfect for you!

As a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you'll become part of an enthusiastic team devoted to delivering top-notch care. While we primarily focus on ENT, our ward also includes a mix of medical and surgical beds, ensuring each day brings new excitement.

Our monthly ward meetings are more than just discussions; they foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. Join us in vital initiatives like End PJ Paralysis, which encourages patients to dress themselves and reclaim their independence, and e-obs initiatives to ensure timely interventions for deteriorating patients.

We are also committed to reducing C. diff infections and proactively preventing Pressure Ulcers, significantly improving patient care. These meetings provide a platform for every staff member to voice ideas and contribute to our mission of excellence.
