With the recent opening of our state-of-the-art 21-bed inpatient surgical unit, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our diverse patient population, including those undergoing ENT procedures, urology, gynaecology, and general surgery. As the only site in the area specialising in ENT inpatient care, this is a unique opportunity to enhance your skills and experience in a variety of surgical disciplines.

Main duties of the job

Ward 12 is a dynamic medical/surgical ENT ward that offers a unique blend of cases, allowing you to develop your skills and broaden your nursing experience like never before. Whether you're a newly qualified nurse or an experienced professional, we're looking for dedicated individuals who are eager to learn and grow within an enthusiastic team committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care.

In addition to traditional ENT cases, our ward features a mix of medical and surgical beds, providing you with a diverse range of experiences that will enhance your clinical capabilities. We actively engage in initiatives such as End PJ Paralysis, e-obs for deteriorating patients, C. diff awareness, and pressure ulcer prevention, all discussed in our monthly ward meetings where your voice matters!
