Main duties of the job

Are you passionate about maternal and neonatal health? Do you want to play a vital role in shaping the future of public health within our communities? Join us as an Immunisation & Public Health Specialist Midwife and take the lead in managing and delivering the NHS England maternal & neonatal vaccination programmes across the NCA.

In this vital role, you will drive the efficient delivery of vaccination programmes, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards and safeguarding the health of mothers and newborns in Rochdale, Oldham, and Bury. Your expertise will make a tangible difference in the lives of families in our care.

As part of the NCA, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure that our immunisation programmes are administered by appropriately trained staff, all while achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect our commitment to excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of quality and safety within our maternity services.
