Job summary
To provide professional leadership for health visiting ensuring safe and effective quality of care is delivered within the resources available while ensuring the care environment is organised to meet the needs of the patient enhancing their experience and supporting staff to meet the Divisional and Trust objectives through:
- The provision of visible, authoritative professional leadership support and direction for health visiting and by ensuring standards of practice and care are set and maintained.
- Ensuring that safe, high quality clinical services are delivered in line with national policy, Trust priorities, available evidence, and patient care needs.
- Lead programmes of improvement work related to patient harm, falls, pressure ulcer prevention and to support the delivery of the Trust and directorate clinical governance
Main duties of the job
The Main Tasks & Overview of Responsibilities:
