Applications are invited from enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated & Cohesive team of Consultant Intensivists to work in Intensive Care Medicine as part of the transformation of the Critical Care Service. The Anaesthetic department will deliver elective anaesthesia sessions - this role will work within Northern Care Alliance Foundation Trust.
(Primarily based at Fairfield Hospital and Salford Royal Hospital, with possibility of some activity at other sites)
We invite applications both from doctors completing their training in ICM and anaesthesia and from established consultants looking for new challenges to further develop their already successful careers.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be provided the opportunity to undertake a split job role within a parent speciality where supported . A 10PA contract will have 8 PA for DCC and 2 for SPA activity.
The post holder will have continuing responsibility for the care of patients in their charge and for the functioning of the service, and will undertake the administrative dutiesassociated with the care of patients and the running of the clinical department.
