We are offering an excellent opportunity for a senior clinical pharmacist to develop our pharmacy services within the specialities of Maternity and Gynaecology here at Royal Oldham Hospital.
The Royal Oldham Hospital has a £44m women and children's facility that includes antenatal wards, labour delivery rooms, a midwife-led birth centre,obstetric theatres, a gynaecology assessment unit and an early pregnancy unit.

Main duties of the job
As the Senior Clinical Pharmacist for Maternity and Gynaecology,you will be responsible for the management and provision of clinical pharmacy services to these specialities at Royal Oldham Hospital and support implementation and compliance with medicines management policies and contribute to the Trust's successful Maternity Improvement Programme.
You will be responsible for supervising the activity and training of supporting pharmacists,pre-registration trainee pharmacists and technical staff providing an opportunity to develop your leadership and management skills.
We are looking for a Pharmacist with a commitment to improving patient safety, medicines expenditure and patient flow through innovation and integration with pharmacy, medical, nursing and management staff.
