Job summary
This is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated and enthusiastic specialty doctors to join the Anaesthetic Dept within the Clinical Support Services Directorate and Scheduled Care Division.
You must have full registration with the GMC, a valid license to practice and primary medical qualification as well as a minimum of 4 years full time postgraduate training (or equivalent) with at least two years should have been spent in Anaesthetics
Main duties of the job
You will support the consultant establishment with a number of specialties in our 8 theatres including elective orthopaedics, gynaecology, general surgery, urology, and the adult ENT service which also provides emergency cover out of hours.
The resident full shift establishment is 7 (including this post), with a EWTD compliant average less than 48 hours, supporting Emergency Medicine and other services 24/7.
