Job summary
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an outstanding individual to lead the Trust's Diagnostic and Pharmacy Applications Teams.
The Trust is embarking on a new Digital Strategy which will result in the implementation of a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.
In line with the above ambition, experienced gained in supporting and managing application estates during EPR implementations would be particularly beneficial. It is envisaged that the post holder will utilise their experience to help the applications team transition from multiple legacy clinical systems towards a single EPR.
Main duties of the job
The primary objective of this post is to lead the team that develops and maintains the Diagnostics & Pharmacy applications that are utilised within the Trust, working closely with the Associate Director of Applications Services to ensure that objectives & budgets are achieved, and risks are minimised.
The Senior Manager, Diagnostics & Pharmacy Applications Delivery will lead and drive the development and sustainability of the Trust's D&P software applications, continually striving to improve quality and responsiveness of these systems for the benefit of colleagues and patients alike.
The post holder will achieve this through the leadership & management of a team of skilled and motivated development professionals, either line or matrix managed (in the case of major project delivery), to ensurethese applications are available and fit for purpose.

- Significant relevant experience within a highly complex application development environment,
- Experience of working with diagnostic and pharmacy applications
- Experience of conducting negotiations relating to highly complex matters ,internally and externally

- Experience of implementing relevant tools, techniques and models for reporting, capacity planning and prioritisation.
