The Pharmacy Departments across the NCA are in the process of transforming to become a single Pharmacy Service under the direction of the NCA Chief Pharmacists. By the pharmacy departments working together across the NCA we aim to deliver an outstanding pharmaceutical service across the group using state of the art electronic systems and automation. In addition, innovative working practices will be introduced to support all Pharmacy staff.

Main duties of the job
A unique opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated pharmacist to lead on the Pharmacy Transformation and Medicines Value Programme across the NCA.
We are looking for a versatile, enthusiastic, and experienced pharmacist. You will be responsible for the development the pharmacy transformation and medicines value programme across the NCA. The aim would be improve the quailty of pharmacy services across the Northern Care Alliance while reducing variation in the pharmacy services provided.
Youwill ensure safe, effective, robust, and auditable processes and systems are in place, in line with national standards and local policy and procedures.
You will be expected to assist the Northern Care Alliance Transformation Director of Pharmacy, the Senior Diagnostic and Pharmacy Team to scope and deliver transformation projects agreed under the Northern Care Alliance Pharmacy Transformation Programme. This would include scoping potential business, cost saving and digital opportunities.
You will need to have an excellent track record for implementing change, coupled with a burning desire to improve and succeed. In return, you will benefit from working in a high performing organisation where you will be able to enhance your skills.
