Job summary
Aqua has recently expanded its reach and is working nationally and internationally. We are seeking an individual who will assist in developing our wider portfolio and actively support our team deliver on our strategy.
We are looking to develop our internal consultancy processes and seek someone with vision, analytical capability, and well-developed customer development skills. The role is to work as part of our Senior Leadership Team make the internal business operations run seamlessly and add value to our overall team approach to bid development, new business, marketing, and communications.
You will have that unique blend of being able to see the bigger picture and assist in plotting our course to deliver. We want someone who will hold us to account, but not in a way that stifles our innovation and creativity. With a significant amount of autonomy, we expect that you will ensure we work in the most efficient and effective way whilst acknowledging that our customers require offers which respond to their needs. Working to the Chief Executive, you will actively support the Executive Directors to be able to deliver within their portfolio our customer requirements.

Main duties of the job
The aim of the role is to build on Aqua's corporate commercial infrastructure to establish systems and processes to meet our strategic requirements.
You will have a track record demonstrating a drive to see tasks through to completion and fully embedded.
There are three key components to this role:
Winning new business and commercial capability- Working across Aqua, leading the response to new business opportunities including management of bid and tender development. To successfully achieve this, you will need:
- Experience leading the completion of successful bids
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be successfully in managing interpersonal relationships, working across portfolios to coordinate high quality responses to meet the mandated requirements and agreed deadlines.
Developing the business through engaging with stakeholders - Developing effective systems and processes for Aqua to engage with customers and improve Customer Relationship Management.
- implementing new digitally based systems/processes e.g., customer relationship management.
- effectively engaging staff and external stakeholders and working collaboratively
Strategic planning business resources - Coordinating Aqua's overarching approach to resource management.
Leading and embedding the implementation of digitally based systems and reporting processes e.g. staff resource management.
