Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Administrator to work within the newly formed and innovative Hospital and care at home service on the Royal Oldham Hospital site.
The post holder will work within the Hospital and care at home team alongside the multi-disciplinary team to provide and maintain a high level of service. He/she will provide comprehensive secretarial/administrative support within their directorate/area of work, whilst promoting a professional image and always maintaining confidentiality.
Main duties of the job
A key element of this role is to admit and discharge patients on the PAS system to ensure accurate and timely data entry 7 days a week, you will also be expected to keep the spreadsheets and patient systems up to date following any MDT discussions and escalate any concerns to the clinical teams.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the service. You need to be flexible, hardworking, have excellent communication skills and appreciate the need for professional development within your practice to ensure we establish a responsive and effective team.
