Job summary
To meet the needs of our complex Intestinal Failure patient caseload we are looking to offer a post for a Band 6 Nurse within the Intestinal Failure Unit.
The Unit has an international reputation for high quality patient outcomes and is one of only two national reference centres in the country directly commissioned to provide these specialist services.
You will need to demonstrate drive, commitment and a strong sense of leadership and deliver excellent patient centred care. You must be able to demonstrate a proven clinical ability at Band 5 or above and the leadership capability to bring the team with you in achieving the Trust goals and values.
Main duties of the job
Surgical nursing experience would be advantageous, and you must be able to demonstrate that you are able to deliver a high standard of evidence based care, and evidence of continual professional development. You must also be able to demonstrate that you work well with a team, show self-motivation and good communication skills.If you have the drive and determination to succeed in a progressive successful organisation, whilst ensuring high quality, safe care, underpinned by best practice which is consistently delivered we would like you to apply
