Sister/Charge Nurse - Dermatology

Job summary
You will be working as part of Dermatology, Rheumatology and General Medicine.
Knowledge of Dermatology is favourable but not essential.
You will be a highly motivated, self-managing nurse, with the drive and enthusiasm to continue to develop the ward and its team and by coaching and supporting students.
Main duties of the job
You will need to show that you can successfully deliver nursing services as well as gather, record and evaluate information effectively. Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to influence patients to change and manage their conditions effectively, are also essential.
You will be expected to participate in the management of the team, assist in the appraisal process and make a significant contribution to the Clinical Governance agenda.
You will also assist with and support the delivery of high standard dermatology and rheumatology care in an in-patient setting and contribute to the development of dermatology and rheumatology services and quality improvement.
