Team Members are required to work on a rota system to cover
8.00am - 6.00pm Monday - Friday
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Booking Clerk your main duties will cover;
- Managing waiting lists by priority and date order
- Booking those next on the list to a date and time that suits them
- Answering and signposting general enquiries from patients calling our appointments line
- Working collaboratively with the directorate team to ensure the capacity & demand balance is right
- Organising your workload to meet our KPI's
To do this we need you to;
- Be able to prioritise your workload effectively
- Pride yourself on being organised
- Have an excellent eye for detail
- Be confident using a computer and Microsoft Office (in particular Excel)
- Have an excellent telephone manner
- Be able to communicate effectively and manage patient expectation
- Strive to give our patients an excellent customer service
- Be enthusiastic, resilient, confident, and committed
