Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Medical Secretary to join our busy and dynamic team in Clinical Administration based at Rochdale Infirmary supporting various specialities within the service.
You will be highly motivated and committed to providing high quality administrative and medical audio typing support to the clinical teams.
Main duties of the job
You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and RSA III typing or equivalent typing experience.
Knowledge of medical terminology would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
As the role involves dealing with the public and healthcare professionals you must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and will have a flexible and professional approach.
You will be able to organise and prioritise your own workload in order to meet our transcription targets.
