Support Secretary - Trauma & Orthopaedics

Job summary
We require an enthusiastic and highly motivated Support Secretary to play an important role, dedicated to ensuring excellent standards of care to the department of Trauma & Orthopaedics.
You will provide comprehensive administration support to the department. You will provide assistance to the Service Leads and Nursing/Clinical Teams and will work collaboratively with other administrative colleagues and support staff.
Your working hours will be Monday to Friday core office hours.You will possess excellent communication skills, confidence and compassion are essential to the role.
Main duties of the job
You will work within a team of highly skilled and motivated staff where patient focus is our priority.
We strive to ensure our patient, family and carers receive an excellent experience . The role is both exciting and challenging where team working is essential and initiative is paramount.
You will provide and receive routine information both internally and externally on behalf of the team, ensuring that urgent business is dealt with appropriately. This will include accepting and managing referral requests and effectively managing queries and messages from relatives and other stakeholders.
The post holder is required to ensure to present a positive and professional image of themselves and of the service to all agencies at all times.
