Rehabilitation Engineer Technician

Job summary

The service requires a Rehabilitation Engineer Technician. Their role will be to ensure all equipment (new and recycled) provided to children in the community has been issued, maintained and serviced to the highest standard in line with manufacturers and the Medical and Health Care Product Regulatory Agency guidance.

The role will assess the safety and functionality of the equipment (new and recycled) supplied to children along with supporting Therapist to review and adjust the equipment.

You must be physically able to perform the functions of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment

You must also have good communication skills, a knowledge of health and safety issues and be sensitive towards our customers including children with complex physical and learning needs, and their families.
