Job summary
We are excited to welcome a paediatric nurse practitioner to become integral in the future development of the HMR Children's Integrated Community Health Services
You'll be passionate about what you do and keen to progress in our busy, pro-active environment where evidence-based practice and joint-working is embedded and your CPD is actively encouraged. From your induction and throughout your time here you will enjoy robust management supervision alongside regular team meetings.
You will be providing clinical input and leadership to a range of topics including ambulatory care and acute deflections from secondary care
You will act in a clinically autonomous way to develop, lead and implement appropriate nurse-led services for children and young people
Main duties of the job
- Responsible for providing an expert nursing service, utilising highly specialised advanced nursing skills to effectively treat/ initiate treatment to children and young people
- Pivotal in the co-ordination of multi-disciplinary input to the acutely unwell child.
- Responsible for ensuring and maintaining the highest standards of care are met within the resources available
- Participates in the development of a formal education programme and continuous professional development of staff
- Responsible for providing professional leadership through being a role model , mentor and practice educator in response to patient / client need and service demand
