Job summary
We now have a vacancy for a full time, Band 3 Team Administrator to work at Rochdale Infirmary.
The hours are for full time (37.5 hours) but we will consider part time (minimum 30 hours).
You will be responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to teams of healthcare professionals.
You will be required to work as part of a team at a community base and provide cross cover during periods of staff absence.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve the co-ordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems. You will often be the first point of contact and a focal point for the services requiring clear communication and liaison skills and will be responsible for managing and prioritising your own workload and will be required to use your own initiative.
You will receive referrals via email and telephone, will data input accurately, will ensure all communication is passed over to the relevant nursing teams. Patients calls are dealt with in accordance with the NCA Trust Values. You will demonstrate flexibility and be able to cover a different shift at short notice. You will be confident in communication with clinicians and patients in a professional manner.
