Job summary
This is an excellent opportunity to work within the service management team in Tertiary Medicine, supporting the Lead Manager for Dermatology services based in Salford, Radcliffe, Bury, Stockport and Altrincham. This will be an exciting challenge and will give you the opportunity to play a key-supporting role in the development of the services within this division.
You will possess excellent communication skills and have a proven track record of strong organisational skills. You must be able to work on your own initiative to organise and prioritise your own workload and balance this with the demands of this diverse and varied role.
This post will have the responsibility for monitoring waiting lists for specific procedures and treatment plans and tracking patients on the 18 week pathways.
Main duties of the job
You will monitor outpatient activity to add capacity planning and will be support the delivery for Trust targets.
Responsibilities in line management of the admin team will play a key role in this position.
You must be able to work within a team and lead a team; therefore influencingand negotiating skills are essential.You will be required to deal with a wide range of staff, both internal and external to the organisation as well as having daily contact with patients in potentially highly emotional situations.
You will have some experience inchange management as well as having analytical, problem solving and data management skills. You will have previous hospital administrative experience in a similar role together with proven IT skills (including MicrosoftOffice), ECDL and a working knowledgeof the Trusts currentIT systems.
