Job summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join and support the 2 Hour Response Team for the Northern Care Alliance. The role will involve working 5 days over 7 and the service operates 365 days a year.
You should have great communicative skills and be able to prioritise your own workload and have a flexible approachable to the 2 Hour Response Team. The role will involve providing a high quality and comprehensive secretarial/administrative service to support our clinical teams you will be required to provide a high degree of organisational skills and excellent knowledge of administrative systems.
The post holder will often be the first point of contact and a focal point for the services and be able to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external contacts using a variety of methods, whilst at the same time ensuring that the highest standards are maintained in line with the Trust's policies and procedures.
Main duties of the job
- Provide an efficient and effective range of clerical and administrative services to support the activities of the 2 Hour Response Service.
- Provide a complete administrative and clerical support to all staff within the department.
- Respond to and act independently to routine enquiries and correspondence.
- Communicate difficulties or problems immediately to an appropriate member of staff.
- Input details onto SystmOne and appropriate database.
- Maintain the electronic filing systems and ensure patient record cards are available for clinic.
- Assist with the induction training of new employees to ensure an effective office system is maintained.
