Job summary
Butler Green is an Enhanced intermediate care unit based in Chadderton.
Our aim is to help reduce hospital stay and avoid hospital admission. We care for patients who require a period of rehabilitation, ensuring that they have the opportunity to fulfil their goals to work towards independence . The unit is Multidisciplinary team led, with permanent Nursing and Allied professionals working together.
The unit is community based and works alongside the urgent 2 hour response team and the community IV team. We encourage staff to work with the other teams of the enablement services to become experienced in the needs of patients in the home.
The unit cares for people who have complex nursing needs and deals with a variety of chronic health conditions.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for professional and highly motivated Registered Nurses wishing to develop their skills within intermediate care and create opportunities to progress. You will need to acknowledge that as well as providing specialist care for our patients, there will be opportunities to develop your skills to become expert in caring for a group of patients with complex medical conditions.
The staff working on the unit are from a social and healthcare background with therapists/social workers and partner agencies working with an integrated and seamless approach.
