Job summary
This post is ideal for those wishing to gain additional experience in specialist maternal medicine outside the speciality training programme. the post holder will be supported for completion of labour ward and maternal medicine obstetrics ATSM module.
The post holder will be responsible, under the supervision of the consultant, for the day to day care of elective and emergency patients.

Main duties of the job
The role will include your regular attendance in multidisciplinary antenatal clinics e.g. endocrine medicine, cardiorespiratory, neurology, hypertension and renal clinics.
The post holder will be expected to contribute to the full shift on-call rota (2nd tier on-call) including Obstetrics and Emergency Gynaecology Cover and reviewing patients in the general gynaecology clinics.
