Job summary

An exciting opportunity to be part of the podiatry team based at The Royal Oldham Hospital .The post holder will assist podiatrists on outpatient clinics in the Diabetes Centre and support the team on the wards.

The post holder will communicate and work closely with multidiscipliniary teams in acute and community settings.

Achievement of national Care Certificate / L2 Health related vocational qualification, or willingness to work towards is required for this role.

Main duties of the job

  • To carry out screening of patients with diabetes (training available on site)
  • Provide foot care advice to patients
  • Prepare clinic environment following infection control protocols
  • Removal and application of dressings following a podiatists care plan
  • Support the podiatrists in manufacturing offloading devices
